Fairy Tale: A True Story

The story takes place in England during World War I when two girls, Frances and Elsie, claim to have taken photos of fairies they have found on the family's property. This gets into the press, and two men show up to investigate. One of them is Harry Houdini, the great escape artist and a man dedicated to exposing false spiritualistic things.

The other man was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes stories. They look at the photos and the area, and talk to the girls. Houdini thinks it's all fake, but Doyle believes the girls.

This is a very nice movie, and the way it is ended leaves the question of whether or not the fairies were real sort of up in the air although, to me, the photos they took were of very questionable quality.
