The 72nd Hunger Games

The book is a very, very brief account of what might have happened in the 72nd Hunger Games although it is obviously made up. It opens with the contestants starting on the task, introduces a few of them, has the main character team up with someone else other than his district's female tribute and follows them through what happens.

They tend to sleep a lot. They also build a fire which is probably one of the most stupid things a person could do since the other tributes can see the smoke rising and attack.

Another time they find a lake and go swimming. Again, stupid since they won't have their weapons and could again be attacked. Another tribute has a huge tent that three of them seek refuge in, not realizing that a huge tent would be fairly easy to spot if another tribute was walking by.

It's an extremely disappointing book.
