Cheeky Angel, volumes 11 and 12

Volume 11

Meg gives Genzo a chance to kiss her but he doesn't. Genzo later steals a kiss from her. Meg starts keeping a score on her friends and the guys are all in minus points.

Meg is behaving in a way that concerns Miki and the others. She sees very calm about the devil creature saying she would soon return to her natural state. Too calm. There ends up being a contest to see who is the most manly among all of them, including Meg. Progress will be graphed.

The next section is all from Genzo's point of view as he tries to assess the situation he's in. Then there's a part where Meg and Genzo are on a train and another girl is being groped. After they leave the train Meg confronts the guy and he threatens to attack her, but Genzo arrives.

Genzo runs into a streak of bad luck with things falling on him or him falling onto, or into, things. He then goes to Hitomonji to try and get some training. He wants to be able to avoid accidents from the curse that has apparently been transferred from Meg to him.

Keiko returns to the series and Meg can't figure out why Keiko hates her so much.

Volume 12

Keiko is attacked by a bunch of thugs and Megumi saves her. Then Keiko remembers when she was younger and got in trouble with a different thug and Megumi came to her aid even then. Keiko still hates her.

The devil being from the book has a short talk with Genzo. Ichiro, Tasuki and Hitomonji go to Genzo's when he's not there to make wishes from the book. Ichiro goes first and ends up imagining happiness. Later Genzo's sister runs into Meg. Then Keiko appears and is nasty as usual.

Genzo's sister suggests a cooking contest between Meg and Keiko, but first there's be a contest between Meg and Genzo for practice. Genzo wins. Summer vacation starts, and Genzo has to attend a make-up class. The teacher tries to get him to give up on Meg.

Then there's a remaining problem about Genzo having said he was in love with Miki (in order to help her stay), and how he has to deal with that. Then Yoriko, Meg's maid, talks to her about being a girl.
