Battle Athletes

It's the moderately-far distant future and earth has been through a terrible world war and a war against an alien race. Now times are peaceful, and one of the greatest achievements any girl can have is to become Cosmo Beauty, the supreme female athlete. The competition center is a vast stadium in space circling the earth, and it is to this place that the various characters of the story come.

This is a character-rich type of story with a lot of personal development of the characters. It's a very good series and not a stereotyped or boring one. Different and good, both.
