B.B. Explosion

Airi is a teenager living in Okinawa and loves a tv show called Boom Boom, which consists of singers and dancers including one she has a particularly strong crush on. She takes a chance on auditioning for an Actor's School so she can be close to Issa, the object of her affections.

The school is rough, though, and she has to work incredibly hard to improve her singing and her dancing. She also has a little mascot-like creature that appears only to those who one day will become stars.

The manga is really interesting, especially in seeing just how strong her desire is to become a singer/dancer and all that she has to go through to fulfill her dream. This is a very good manga.
