Doll

This is a series of short stories involving objects called dolls which are basically androids. I'm not going to describe any of the stories since that might give away the plots but I will say that the stories are some of the strongest and best (although not happiest, that's for sure) that I have read anywhere whether in manga or non-manga books.

There is a great sensitivity in the stories and a willingness to deal with some very major, at times emotionally upsetting types of things.

This is a very serious manga that is extremely, extremely good.
