Oh, My Goddess volumes 9 and 10

Volume 9

Law of the Ninja: The continuation of the story about Mara's ninja. Other ninjas come to kill the one Mara sent. They end up getting in a fight with all three goddesses and even attack Keiichi.

Together for Never: Urd and Skuld are both called back to Heaven to take remedial courses. That leaves Keiichi and Belldandy alone. Before they can get close, though, Belldandy becomes ill. Keiichi tries to find some kind of helpful potion in Urd's room. Things go wrong, though, and Keiichi gets changed into a girl. Keiichi helps Belldandy heal, but he's still stuck as a girl.

Can't Stop Being Jealous: The last page of the previous section and three pages of this section are in color. Urd's old lover, the Plum Tree Spirit, arrives. He happens to be very jealous and Keiichi gets worried. He has a hidden agenda of his own, though.

It's Lonely at the Top: The Motor Club wants to enter a hill-climbing contest. Keiichi is the one that is going to be riding the bike.

Tainted God: Keiichi gets a love letter. He meets the girl who says she needs to exorcise some evil spirits from him and plans to stay at his house that night. Instead of getting rid of low-level spirits, though, she actually summons a bunch of them up. Then she summons up some kind of major spirit. Meanwhile Belldandy is getting jealous of her.

Volume 10

The first thing is a series of color pages showing all three goddesses separately. All three drawings are very well done.

Let's Have Fun: Megumi complains to Keiichi about a boy's baseball team kicking the girl's team off the field. Urd suggests the two teams play a game to determine which team will take over the other.

Belldandy is up first and walks. Skuld gets an out. The game goes on and the boy's team takes a major lead. Urd then changes into a uniform that reveals a lot of cleavage, and the boy's team gets so distracted they fall behind.

Remember the Sad Times: Megumi brings over a puppy that she wants the group to keep. It likes everyone except Keiichi, who it continually bikes. The dog saves them from being run over. Megumi finds its actual owner, and Keiichi finds out why the dog is always gnawing on him.

Karaoke Friend: Keiichi wins a trip to a hot springs, but he never actually entered any contest. It turns out Mara is also there, but they all agree to a temporary truce. Mara and Urd get into various competitions; it's revealed that Urd is half-demon and half-goddess. The whole stay is a trick, though.

Urd Turns 100% Evil. While on a walk Mara attacks Urd. Mara has cloned a copy of Urd and shows it to her in the lab. Mara plans to take the demon-half from Urd and put it into the clone. The clone Urd is now the Lord of Terror, and she kidnaps Skuld.

Skuld Strikes Back: Clone Urd kisses Keiichi and Belldandy sees it. Meanwhile the real Urd has escaped and freed Skuld.
