Happy Lesson

This is the story of Susumu Arisaka, a boy who grew up in an orphanage and is now returning to his home. When he arrives home he finds out that there are five women there, each of which is going to be his "mama." They are all teachers and seem to be competing to be "the mama."

There's also the female class president who is interested in Susumu plus other characters showing up and a good bit of slapstick humor.

It's fun, but confusing. I kept trying to see if I had somehow missed something at the beginning. Why are there five women? Why not just one? Or two? Why such an interest in this particular student? It's almost like there should have been some kind of introductory explanation as to how and why these things are happening rather than just sort of this "jumping in."
