Maria-sama ga Miteru episode 12
Yumi asks Sachiko out for a date and she agrees.
Yumi sort of acts like she has things planned out, but so far she really doesn't know where to go.
She goes to talk to Yoshino and get some ideas of where to go from her, but ends up not mentioning it.
Shimako is going on a date with someone from the Newspaper Club, and the club is footing their expenses. Yumi feels she can't ask her for advice either.
Yumi tends to sometimes put off working on a problem.
It turns out the newspaper's photographer is there.
Yumi dresses in jeans, but Sachiko is really dressed up.
Sachiko gives Yumi some money to help cover the date.
Yoshino is there to check up on a date her onee-sama is having.
Yumi starts out by taking Sachiko window-shopping.
Shimako is having a rather uncomfortable conversation with her date while Yoshino is still on her own mission.
They end up eating at a fast-food hamburger joint.
Yumi has to explain the concept of a self-service restaurant to Sachiko who is not used to eating in places like that. Sachiko doesn't even know that hamburgers are NOT eaten with forks and knives. They leave the restaurant and Sachiko seems to disappear.
