Kimagure Orange Road Tankobons

Stories in Japan are often run first in the quite thick manga issues. Manga are generally printed on very poor paper and are not meant to last. The most successful stories end up being condensed into one or more paperbacks, called tankobons.

Tankobons are around the size of a regular paperback, but can be bigger or smaller. They generally have a wrap-around cover with good artwork, and interior covers with more artwork. The binding, at least on all those I have managed to get, is well done. The art quality is good and many tankobons will even have colored art added.

There are 18 tankobons in the Kimagure Orange Road series. Below are the covers to all 18, and a couple of the internal covers that I thought were interesting.
