Hinata Aiaha is a high school student without brothers or sisters but with a wonderful collection of teddy bears. One day she is looking at the house next to hers and finds out someone is moving in (after falling out of a tree onto the person, though).

It turns out that the person is going to be her substitute teacher for a while.

Hinata loves it when people pat her head like they do to kids.

She helps her teacher clean up his yard, then has him over to her house where she fixes him pancakes. One of her friends tells her the next day at school that she shouldn't be eating pancakes with her teacher in her house alone (Hinata lives alone).

There is also some kind of dark secret when one girl says "nobody knows about Hina's family." There's also something about Hina had made the decision to live by herself alone because she didn't want to make anyone else sad. The mystery grows.

Her father is the "chairman" of the school, whatever position that is, and owns a bunch of companies. Her mother is dead.

There's also somewhat of a mystery about her teacher and his background.

This is getting to be a really interesting and different manga. Hinata is a very naive and likeable girl but it's obvious she has something of a past herself. It's sort of like in Babylon 5 when G'Kar was talking about it to someone and he said "no one there is exactly what they seem," or something like that. I'm going to enjoy reading more of this.
