The Irresponsible Captain Tylor

This is a really odd series. Tylor is an individual who wants to do as little as possible to get by. He seems to always be choosing to do nothing when given a situation for which some kind of action is demanded. He joins the military thinking that this is the solution to his problems; do as little as possible, get fed, etc, and then retire.

It happens that he saves a famous general and his daughters from hostages and ends up being appointed the captain of a broken-down spaceship which, unfortunately, has marines and fighter pilots fighting each other, quite literally. The ship is being torn to pieces (again, quite literally) by the fighting between the two groups, one of them has sent Tylor a nicely packaged bomb, and to top it off a fleet of enemy spaceships comes knocking.

This is really a funny series, especially in seeing how things work out for Tylor when they really, one thinks, should end up going terribly.
