Doramas and Movies from Japan and Other Oriental Countries

Doramas (dramas) are soap-opera type productions. Unlike American soap operas, which can go on for year after year, Asian doramas are limited in the number of episodes done, usually 8 to maybe 12 episodes. They can be historical in nature, they can deal with horror, they can be comedies, almost any subject possible.

There are also Asian movies which I like, and those too are represented below.

I am using the term "Asian" here on purpose. Although most of the items below will be Japanese in origin, some of them may come from Korea or other Asian countries.
