Hello Morning 11-11-2001 Show #83

The song Mr. Moonlight.

A game used to "test the sense of humor of the new members."

The girls take a prop then go the stage and try to say something funny. Sometimes it's a play on Japanese words that are very similar.

Petit Moni's "My Perfect Christmas".

Hello Morning Theater (Park St. Skit)

This is the first one of the skits that I have seen that is actually subtitled. It seems to me that the skits come across pretty much the same way whether or not you know the words; funny parts seem to be funny parts whether or not you understand them technically. It also reinforces my opinion that the skit portion is not one of the strongest parts of the shows. On the other hand, the humor contest basically would require a knowledge of Japanese in order to appreciate the jokes. Some of them come off funny even without understanding the words, but many of them would be lost on the viewer otherwise.

A Mini Moni segment. (They're bent on conquering the Earth?) Most of this particular segment isn't that funny until they do a part where they try space food (food given to astronauts) and have to guess what it is.
