2002, Episodes 4/01 through 4/10

4/01. Leave it alone (Yoshizawa Hitomi) In this section the person has to pick a block from a stack without knocking the stack over. The block then has an English phrase on it which they are supposed to repeat.

4/02. Give me a hug. (Yoshizawa Hitomi)

4/03. Kiss Me

4/04. I understand. (Abe Natsumi) Natsumi questions Ayaka about the difference in English and Japanese ways of speaking. The English would be "I understand," but in Japanese the "I" is left out; the subject of the sentence is usually understood by the person listening, so instead of saying "I understand" in Japanese, you would just say "Understand (wakarimashita)"

4/05. Help yourself. (Niigaki Risa) This is her first time ever with an English lesson, and she's also the first person to cause the pile of blocks to fall.

4/08. Go ahead. (Yasuda Kei) In English, for example, if you were willing for someone to enter an elevator before you, you would say "go ahead" and probably give some kind of hand gesture for the person to go on before you. In Japanese, you would just say "dozo," the person would basically know what you wanted them to do.

4/09. It's my treat. (Yasuda Kei)

4/10. I miss you. (Goto Maki)
