Kana

This is a 1987 cd and it contains the following tracks:

1. Party Town-What Can I Do For You (4:14): Sort of a jazzy, semi-disco type of song. Not one of her best, though. Too many others involved in singing on the track, and her voice itself is sort of uneven.

2. kanashii Heart wa moete-iru (Sad Heart is Burning, from Kimagure Orange Road) (4:04): What can I say but this is one of my favorite KOR songs; actually, one of my favorite songs, period.

3. tanjoubi wa Minus 1 (Birthday is minus 1) (3:48): Very good song with a nice beat.

4. futashika-na I LOVE YOU (Uncertain "I love you") (3:56): Another one of her KOR songs, and one of the best.

5. tori no you ni (Like a Bird) (4:17): one of her KOR songs, really an excellent song. (From the Loving Heart cd)

6. Sunday brunch (3:55): sort of a disco-type beat, sung with clipped syllables in a style unlike her other songs. It's one of those songs that you can't quite figure out if you like it or you don't.

7. fuyu no suizokukan (Winter aquarium) (1:15): An unusual song; extremely sort, sung in sort of a dirge-like manner.

8. kanashimi no Virgin Road- Never Fall in love (Sadness of Virgin Road) (4:39): This one has a male singer joining her. Their voices blend fairly well, although hers is clearer and a little stronger. A fairly good song, too.

9. Music ni kata yosete (4:39): A really nice song.

10. C. Kurooderu no tsumi (4:24): very nice song with Kanako's voice rising and falling with the richness displayed in her KOR tracks. The only problem with the song is that the instrumental portion is perhaps a little too loud, masking her voice a little.
