The Accidental Demon Slayer

The story is about Lizzie who is leading basically a very normal life.

Until her grandmother shows up like a Hell's Angel on a motorcycle in the bathroom tries to kill Lizzie. and Lizzie's dog starts talking, literally.

Lizzie flees with her grandmother only to encounter Dimitri, who say's he's Lizzie's protector and will train her. It seems she is a demon slayer, and needs to control a major demon, save her grandmother's soul, save the two souls of Dimitri's sisters, deal with a whole pack of old women like her grandmother who all ride motorcycles and have bottle after bottle of animal tails and other parts that they use for magic.

Parts of the book are funny, and parts are very action-filled. It's another take on the girl/woman-becomes-fighter-of-evil-whether-she-wants-to-or-not-and-picks-up-a-hot-boyfriend-at-the-same-time.

Which a number of books are using. This one uses the concept quite well, and there is a sequel.
