All Together Dead

This is a really good book in the series, possibly one of the best if not the best. Sookie has to go to a major vampire meeting as a representative of the Queen of the Louisiana vampires. Quinn is going, Bill is going, and a whole lot rides on the meeting since the Queen is going to be put on trial for killing her vampire King husband.

That would be tough enough on Sookie, but there's another major problem. The Fellowship of the Sun, an anti-vampire hate group, has a militant spin-off, and killing vampires is fine with them, even if it means taking some humans down with them. Humans including Sookie.

The scenes in the pyramid-shaped vampire hotel are particularly intense, and a lot of beings, vampire and human alike, will not make it out of this novel alive.

It just amazes me how she is able to keep writing book-after-book in the series and yet keep everything interesting, with different things happening, new characters appearing or older characters being brought back, and all this with a strong sense of mystery about it. Absolutely a must read.
