Georgina's boss, Jerome, sends her to Canada to do some work for another demon boss, Cedric. Meanwhile Seth is now dating Maddie. While in Canada, Georgina begins to see just how much infernal (literally) politics is involved in two demons and their territories and other demons caught in the middle.
Then everything falls apart as Jerome disappears. Georgina loses her succubus abilities. Vampires can walk openly in the daylight and nothing happens to them. A group called the Army of Darkness claims a female angel has told them to cause rather stupid forms of chaos. A certain individual wants to force Georgina from trying to find out what is going on.
All through this mess Georgina's relationship with Seth finally turns sexual, yet another problem she has to deal with since Seth already has a girlfriend.
This is a really interesting story, and series, since the story focuses on the evil side of things and sees things from their viewpoint. The politics is just as nasty as human politics and the bureaucracy is just as hidebound also. It's a well-done book.
