50 Ways to Hex Your Lover

The book starts in the year 1313 with thirteen young witches banished to the mortal world because one of them cursed a mortal and wouldn't confess.

Jazz Tremaine is one of that group. The year is 2007, and the group hasn't been forgiven yet. Jazz works on removing curses from people. She drives a neat car that, unfortunately, comes with a ghost named Irma. She's also confronting a guy who wanted a curse removed and then tried to cheat her out of her payment.

Not a good thing to do to a witch. (It's a world where witch, vampires and other creatures exist. Luckily for her, since she runs a taxi cab service that caters to such beings.)

Nikolai is a former lover of hers. Former. As in really bad feelings exist between the two. Anyhow, he wants her help in finding out what has happened to some vampires who have gone missing.

Krebs is a friend of hers. Fluff and Puff are her bunny slippers. With live, very nasty bunnies on them.

It turns out that someone very evil that Jazz thought she had killed years ago is actually alive, and is probably the one behind the vampire disappearances. Nick needs to help to confront the guy, even though Reeves, the guy, had almost killed her.

They end up confronting the guy, and either he will die, or both of them. Still, with a ghost in the brain, things could get quite interesting.

This is a pretty good book. A lot of action, an unusual pairing of a witch and a vampire, a very interesting library, and especially the bunny slippers!
