Hello, Gorgeous!

Caitlyn James died in a car accident.

Caitlyn James was brought back to life.

Sort of.

There's a series of emails between “The Boss” and some doctor about whether or not to use her body in an experiment. Two months later, she runs into a friend of hers. While talking, Caitlyn thinks about what happened and how she was changed and is now working for the government.

Caitlyn has refused to work for the government, though, and they send a squad to get her, but she beats them all up. She's essentially the Bionic Woman, with shades of the Terminator thrown in, plus some additional features.

She talks to the Boss and agrees to do one job for him if the group will leave her alone after that. She also happens to own a salon.

Her first task is to stop someone who is sending out email viruses. It's a teenager, and instead of killing him, she has sex with him. He agrees to stop sending the viruses.

She threatens to tell everyone about the government agency, but the Boss says to go ahead, and that no one will believe her. (Which could mark a mistake in the story, as all she would have to do is find some doctor who could do blood tests on her and he would find nanites in her system.

Caitlyn is sure Sara, a customer, is a spy for the Boss, and she is. The Boss wants her to do another job, but she refuses.

She finds out she has an off switch, which gets her very, very angry. She goes with Dimitri, the guy who turned her off, and finds out Dimitri is a cybernetic organism, like her, and was made before her. The people who have been dying are ones on the team that made Caitlyn, and Caitlyn suspects Dimitri, and he suspects her.

Someone else is killed, so Caityln and Dimitri now know neither one of them is the killer. They end up having sex. They finally catch the murderer.

After that, there's a short story, Ten Little Idiots. A group of people are at a resort on an island. Someone appears to have been killed, but the police can't be called due to weather conditions. They find a body, but can't get to it because it's on the rocks below the mansion.

They run into a problem when they realize that everyone in the group is accounted for, leaving them wondering exactly who was killed.

The rest of the story involves a lot of sex, the revelation of who was killed and why, and more sex.

First, the short story is sort of cute. The main story is okay, although the sexual angle is sort of repetitive of the events in the Undead but... series of books. Repetitive also is the woman-with-abilities theme falling for the man-who-has-similar-abilities, although this time, instead of a vampire, you have a six-million-dollar-man character.
