Martha in the Mirror

Martha and the Doctor are at a castle which is serving as the place where a peace treaty, of sorts, is going to be signed between two groups that have been at war for a long time.

Not everyone wants peace, though, and it turns out there's a Trojan Horse type of gift involved, a mirror that people can pass through. There's a couple of interesting robots, a girl afraid of her ghost, a guy playing a monk in a costume, a lot of running around, and a fairly major battle.

It's another good Doctor Who novel, from the Doctor's viewpoint. The character of Martha, though, could easily be replaced by any of a bunch of other characters and you really wouldn't notice the difference. She doesn't really do anything that makes identifies her as being the Martha character and not, say, Sarah Jane.
