Something Old, Something NewThis is another Harlequin romance manga. It's a neat romantic story of two people, Sunny, who currently works in a hotel, and Ryan, her ex-husband. Ryan's ex-home, kind of a castle/hotel, is up for sale, but the woman who owns it will only sell it to a married couple. Ryan wants Sunny to act as his wife in order to get the woman to sell the place to him, and he offers Sunny a chance to run the hotel, which will allow her to have her grandmother there and take care of her. There's the traditional arguing, and it's revealed that Ryan married Sunny because she was pregnant. She lost the baby, and soon after divorced him, but she still has strong feelings for him. They survive a hot-air balloon ride, and kiss during it, but she falls off a cliff. End of volume 1. |
