The Royal Pain

This is another in the humorous books about a rather dysfunctional Alaskan monarchy in an alternate reality. Princess Alexandra is the one making the trouble now. She's recovering from having to kill someone in order to save the King's life and she visits America. There she visits Dr. Rivers, a marine biologist, and takes a fancy to him.

One thing leads to another, as it always does in this series of books. Dr. Rivers detests the rich, but is still attracted (and more) to the princess. In the end, he has to decide if he loves her enough to overcome his dislike of the rich and to become a Prince himself.

Quite a cute book, really.
