Sale or Return BrideThis is another of the Harlequin romance manga. The two main characters are Alesia, who is trying to get money to take care of her ill mother, and Sebastian, who is a totally self-centered jerk. Alesia's grandfather wants revenge on Sebastian's family. The two families have been at conflict for three generations. The grandfather, though, knows that Alesia cannot have children, so her marrrying Sebastian would end the family's blood-line. Alesia's father died because of Sebastian's family. As a marriage promise, Sebastian will give Alesia enough money to take care of her grandmother. He has no love for Alesia, though. He also doesn't know that she is a virgin. An interesting story. It's going to be fascinating to see how the two finally do end up falling for each other (assuming they do). |
