The book divides Ohio into various sections including:

Lakeshore

Ohio Valley

Cincinnati and the Southwest, Columbus and the Western Heartland and Eastern Heartland.

There are no photographs. There are some artwork pages, though. The descriptions of the various sightings run a page or two. There are other things than ghosts in the book. This includes UFOs, swamp monsters and witches. There's even a chapter about John Brown's grave. The whole book is quite interesting.
