Haunted Ohio II

1992, 212 pages, no photos.

This is the second in a series of books about ghosts in Ohio. The topics in this one include ghostly ladies, haunted inns, haunted music, the elusive poltergeist, ghostly children, glimpses through time, uncanny animals, a creepy catch-all, haunted jails, Waynesville, the Air Force museum and dangerous ghosts.

The book is a little unusual in devoting a whole chapter to dangerous ghosts and it's easy to see why the ghosts are considered to be dangerous. One of my favorite chapters is the one on ghosts in the Air Force Museum. Poltergeists are not strictly ghosts, of course, but are manifestations of uncontrolled energy usually centered around young adolescents.

It's another interesting book in the five-book series.
