Does Bigfoot Exist: The Trial on Bigfoot

Basically what this means is that the author presents both sides of the issue, point out information that favors the existence of Bigfoot as a real entity and evidence that questions the existence of Bigfoot and demands more and better evidence.

The author notes Native American legends about the cryptid and the existence of footprints but the total lack of any carcass or bones. He goes into the beliefs of different Native American tribes and then information from early settlers in those areas.

Two of the major things are the notes about how tall they Bigfoot seems to be, around 8 foot or more and the presence of a terrible smell when a Bigfoot is seen.

It notes the various sounds that they make which can be interpreted as communication to other Bigfoot but at the same time the beings do not seem to be able to speak in any form similar to humans.

The book points out various quite primitive structures in forests that could be nest for the Bigfoot, Examples of fur and scat are not conclusive.

The 'trial' part presents evidence for Bigfoot as a a giant ape and the evidence for Bigfoot as a primitive hominid.

I like the way the author presents both sides of the issue clearly. Very good book on the subject.
