Encounters: Bigfoot, volume 10
As usual the bad smell and the various sounds make up the most common traits in the sightings. There's four conical-head shapes which is a little unusual. However, a story I read in another book presents the possibility that the conical shape may not be the actual shape of the skull but some kind of topknot of hair.
There's also the common silence in the forest. Other names are also used such as swamp man, wood ape, swamp ape and wild man of the woods.
One case involves the usual run in with a Bigfoot but in this case the man gives it some food and it leaves. This type offering does not happen often but it seems to always end in a peaceful conclusion to an encounter.
There's also the use of firearms and what seems to be no damage to the Bigfoot at all. There's also an encounter where a Bigfoot steals food and a very unusual one in which a Bigfoot attacks a snowplow.
The most important one, though, involves a protective Bigfoot and space aliens.
A little different from the average book in the series.
