Encounters Bigfoot vol. 2

Since this is all Bigfoot all the time I'll just point out some things that are interesting to me. The book notes the oldest account (written, I assume) is from 986 AD. This means that they have a written record for a very long time and this doesn't count things like Native American and other legends that go back even further but were not written down.

There are 22 entries. Over half of them refers to the howling/screaming/whooping sound made by the Bigfoot. This makes up the verbal communication but there is also eh use of hitting trees with fists or large branches which also seems to be a form of communication between two or more Bigfoot beings.

There's a few that involve staring between the Bigfoot and the human looking at it. In the vast majority of cases of this nature that I have read it seems that this does not lead to violence as long as the human backs off. It's like "I see you, human, and I'm a whole lot bigger and stronger then me. Maybe you should leave.'

There's also a cases where the Bigfoot is in a tree and this seems to be a not uncommon thing. There's also the throwing rocks or branches to get a person to leave. It's very interesting to note that in this type of action the rocks and branches don't seem to be aimed right at the human.

The rocks and branches might hit the side of a cabin or even a car but it seems they they are more a warning thing than an actual attack.

There's also the total silence in the woods just before a sighting. This might imply that the creatures in the forest sense the Bigfoot and decide silence is the best thing they can do at the time.

There is one case of barn doors being destroyed which shows just how strong they can be.

Typical book in the series, useful to figuring out behavior patterns.
