There's a variety of cryptids in this volume. The first one involves hostile fairies. This is not a common cryptid and its hostile behavior is also not common. The second story involves a rake which is more common than the fairies.

There's an entry about a skinwalker which moves very fast. The final story is one of the strangest I've read involving a hostile being that could be some form of demonic ghost. That type of cryptid is also rather rare. The story also involves a blessed crucifix and it's effects on the cryptid.
