What Lurks Beyond volume 11

Bigfoot accounts make up 11 of the 17 stories in this book. As far as the Bigfoot accounts go, you have the normal knocking on trees, growling and whooping sounds. You also have one shot at and one with a conical head. Then there's the usual really bad smell.

You also have Bigfoot going through trash cans which indicates, I believe, that food sources in their area are not enough to keep them going. Also, if you're taking food from garbage cans at least it doesn't put up much of a fight.

One of the things that as often found in Bigfoot accounts is something that does puzzle me. As in one of the accounts here you have the Bigfoot ripping trees right out of the ground. I don't see where that type of thing accomplishes anything other then to show off how some Bigfoot creatures have no control of their temper.

There's a bat-like creature in one account with black eyes, nine foot tall and white so this differs from the usual Mothman account.

There's a black-eyed children account which raises an interesting point. Why do most of these encounters have the children wearing old-fashioned clothing? There is also a story with a bunch of shadow beings in it.

There's a Glimmer Man story and then two which are hard to figure out. One might be a skinwalker or even a vampire. The last one is some kind of cryptid that can cloak itself and a clicking sound.

Typical book of its kind, all the sighting interesting.
