Skinwalkers

One explanation for skinwalkers is that they are people from a long time ago that changed into something else. The Navajo consider them to be evil watchers.

There are skinwalkers in other countries and this type of skinwalker includes beserkers (bear, wolf, boar, puka). Germany has their own forms which includes an Owl man which is a flying cryptid seen in the U.S. at times.

Various ideas about them includes giving attention to them increases their power or they could be from an alien planet/another dimension stealing human souls.

The book talks about things seen around Chernobyl, Moscow, Mongolia. the Gobi Desert, Chile and those on the Skinwalker Ranch.

There's also a personal experience covered and a demand(?) that land be returned to the Native Americans before the skinwalkers will leave.

It's kind of an interesting book but since the author was covering skinwalkers in other countries I would have liked to see more countries represented, how the skinwalkers in the various countries are the same or different and what countries show no evidence of skinwalkers and why they don't have any skinwalkers.
