Iris series, part 3: Iris Again

Review

Again, another good story in this series, concentrating on Ranma's and Kuno's individual psychological states and their growing relationship with each other. It also allows Ranma's inner strength to come out, as she comes to terms with being a woman, with Akane being with someone else, and being at least somewhat attracted to Kuno.

Synopsis

The story opens with a repeat of the events at the end of Angel, then moves to Ranma discussing Kuno with his psychiatrist, noting that he hates Kuno, blaming Kuno for taking his manhood away everytime he was in girl form.

Sometime later Ranma and Kuno have a short and fairly friendly talk. Kuno and Ranma later meet in the cafeteria and end together, talking about their problems and their needs to move on with their lives.

Nodoka and Kasumi come to visit. Kuno is by Ranma's side and comforts her when Nodoka starts being her overbearing self again. Later Kuno isolates himself from Ranma, but Ranma confronts him and Kuno admits that he is in love with her.

Ranma is released after two months, and Kuno (met by Ranma) is released a week after her. Ranma tells Akane that she is now o.k. with Akane's relationship with Ryoga.
