I'm Not Ranma

Review

The story starts with the concept that Ranma's fall into the cursed spring changed her totally into a female, complete with a "memory" of always being female. From there the story begins to diverge from the series, so far in ways that are quite interesting.

The story is good except for one problem and that is numerous spelling errors. They are bad enough that it makes the story a little difficult to read at times which is a shame since this is so far a good and somewhat different story.

Synopsis

Part 1

In this one Ranma and Genma are at Jusenkyo and Ranma falls into one of the pools. There is an odd reaction, though, and Ranma ends up becoming female and thinking that she was always female.

The chapter ends with their arriving at the Tendo dojo with Ranma-chan disguised as a boy (using chest bindings.)

The chapter is also extremely funny, one of the funniest ones that I've read. There isn't an explanation of why Ranma-chan seems to remain female permanently, but maybe it's a side-effect of the particular pool.

Part 2

Part 2 diverges further from the series itself as Nabiki is the one that chooses to accept Ranma as her financee. Ranma ,in this story, is very, very shy and has been misused by his father even worse then in the regular series.

Part 3

Nabiki reveals to Ranma that she is "his" fiancee. No one has caught on to the idea that Ranma is really Ranko, a female. Ranko is wearing a binding outfit somewhat like Ukyo's and so is able to pass for being a boy, at least as of the end of chapter 3.
