Ranko's Wings

Review

The story is an alternate universe one where Genma is still cursed to a panda and Ranma a girl, but there is another character, Ranko, who is younger than Ranma , has wings she can use, and has fangs. There's also some kind of evil being controlling Akane and using her anger.

I waffled some about including this story, but it does seem to have potential, although it most likely isn't going to be finished.

Summary

Part 1

Ranko talks to a shopkeeper and tells her about her father and big brother. Genma is nasty to Ranma and basically ignores Ranko. She has wings and Ranma tells her to make sure no one knows about them.

Three teenage boys move to attack Ranko and Ranma comes to her defense. There's something about something that had happened some years previously that causes the boys to attack anyone who appears to be different. She's attacked and her wings unfurl and she hurls a fireball at the boys.

Part 2

Ranko, Genma and Ranma-chan get to the dojo. Ranko is carrying both of them since they are out cold. Her shirt has been damaged and her breasts are showing and there's a lot of humor related to that.

Part 3

The basic dojo scene where Soun finds out Ranma-chan is a boy, etc, is pretty much repeated, but it's Ranko that stops the fighting between Genma and Ranma as she's way stronger than either. Akane is upset and glowing red. Akane thinks Ranko is a vampire.

Part 4

Akane says she wants to spar with Ranko but she's really going on a full-out attack trying to hurt if not kill Ranko. Akane is defeated, fortunately. There's a brief section that indicates someone somewhere else has watched the fight.

Ranko talks about their trip to Jusenkyo and how she sensed evil and death there, and how the springs seem to have a life of their own, one grabbing Ranma and dragging him into it.

The part about Ranma having to marry one of the sisters is repeated, but Kasumi is the one to accept the role.

Kasumi takes a strong liking to Ranko and will help her learn about clothes, makeup, and why she has to wear a bra.

Akane again attacks Ranko. It turns out some evil being is the one controlling Akane, using her anger for his own purposes.
