Ranma ½, part 9 number 10

The story is continuing with the cat with the bell, the cat thinking Shampoo will become his bride. Ranma, Akane and Mousse all go to rescue Shampoo from the cat. Ranma needs to kiss Shampoo to set her free but, as usual, he can get into a position to kiss someone but then he freezes and doesn't actually get around to kissing anyone.

Then as the New Year's bells start to ring Shampoo starts to literally turn into a cat (without water being used on her.) Shampoo in her cat form kisses Ranma (who is freaking out about Shampoo being in her cat form) and that breaks the hold the big cat has on her.

Ranma is having nightmares where she is Ranma-chan and holding hands with some really, really old guy. Some youngish guy shows up, shows Ranma-chan a picture of an old guy, and says she needs to go out on a date. An old guy is dying and can still use astral projection. He wants to date a girl that he was in love with long ago, and the girl looks like Ranma-chan.

Ranma-chan goes on a date with him, then finds out later that the guy's first love is still alive.
