Collector's Edition: The OAV's #1

This one has three videos, the first being "Shampoo's Sudden Switch! The Curse of the Contrary Jewel. Shampoo puts on a piece of jewelry that, if worn upside down, causes her to hate Ranma bitterly. When she takes it off, however, then she is back to her normal loving-Ranma feelings. Ranma, being the macho individual he is in his male form, decides that he must get Shampoo to say she still loves him even if he has to say he loves her. A really funny video.

The second episode is Tendo Family Christmas Scramble which is thoroughly delightful. The Tendo Family puts on a Christmas special for their friends and it is really a wonderful episode, especially with all the Ranma 1/2 females singing together.

The third episode is "Akane vs Ranma:I'll be the one to inherit mother's recipes." A recipe book of Akane's mother is found and Akane tries to take over the cooking chores for an ill Kasumi. As if that isn't potential disaster enough Ranma's mother shows up on the doorstep. Unfortunately she doesn't happen to know that Ranma changes sex and Ranma and his father want to keep matters that way. This is a really warm, wonderful episode and the tape is one you have to add to your collection.
