One Grew Over the Kuno's Nest

The first episode concerns Kuno getting hold of a phoenix egg. The shopkeeper tells him to definitely, absolutely, without-any-doubt to never put the egg on his head.

And, of course, within minutes the egg is on his head and hatching. Kuno ends up with an attached baby phoenix who takes and instant dislike to Ranma. Later it takes an instant dislike to almost anyone it sees.

Ranma and his friends try to come up with a way to get the phoenix off Kuno's head, but their efforts make the phoenix get ever larger until the destruction begins to mount as clouds of dust rise over the neighborhood!

Shampoo and Ukyo come up with an idea to split Ranma and Akane apart forever. The Merchant's Association is going on an outing, and Shampoo and Ukyo find a haunted cave that supposedly causes couples to break up.

With the entire group along you know things will get wild and they do, complete with ghosts, disembodied body parts, sinking boats and the expected attempt to split Akane and Ranma apart by the ghosts.

Both episodes are really funny and quite different from each other. A tape worth getting.
