Before the Sun Sets

Review

A rather short story about Ranma being hit again by Akane, and about a few of the various troubles he has in his life.

In this story, he and Ryoga have ended their “feud,” and it's shown how much Ranma/Ranma-chan really cares about Ryoga. When Ranma ends up in girl form, it's always easier for her to admit her feelings, and she realizes that she is actually in love with Ryoga, which is not that unreasonable, considering the many similarities they have and the fact that, at one time, they were basically friends.

A short, nice, reasonably possible story.

Synopsis

Ranma gets hit by Akane again for making a remark about her food. He impacts in a river and changes into Ranma-chan. He, Akane, and the fiancees were going on a camping trip together (not his idea.) He is attacked by Mousse and defeats him. For ten days it's been one attack after another, one malleting after another by Akane, etc.

Then the story has Ryoga, lost as usual. Ryoga had finally stopped blaming Ranma for everything and they had had a long talk. They both realized that Akane was not the right one for either one of them.

They get back to Ryoga's camp and talk some more, and then Ranma-chan realizes that she doesn't want to get back to the craziness in Nerima; she's happy being with Ryoga and is in love with him.
