Tales of Ranma and Ranko Part 3
Review
This continues to be one of the wildest, funniest Ranma-chan/Ranko fanfics I've read. Virtually everything is over-the-top and that's one of the things that is making this series so good. The unlikely pairings, the appearance of Ryouga's father and numerous other events would be impossible to put up with in a story written by a lesser author, but this author is capable of weaving all these weird, delightfully strange events into a coherent, believable whole.
Synopsis
Chapter 1
Pantyhose Taro is in the area planning something.
Dr. Tofu visits Ranko who is practicing her ki-blasts. He wants her to become his receptionist although it's also evident he's beginning to become romantically interested in her.
Ranko goes to school and is attacked by the hentai horde but quickly takes care of them. It's obvious she's more violent than Ranma.
Chapter 2
The students have no idea that Ranma and Akane are in the school gym's attic (making love) and the sounds they are making is causing people to think the gym is haunted.
Shampoo is really enjoying the baby Happosai. She also can see herself married to Ryouga with a family of their own.
Ranko is getting ready for her interview to Dr. Tofu. Kasumi realizes that Ranko is falling for the doctor.
Pantyhose Taro stops Ranko on her way to the doctors's, thinking she is Ranma. He gets her quite angry and she kicks him in the groin a hundred times or so.
Nabiki searches through the house and finds some suspicious financial documents about Genma and Soun. She finds out that Ranma is to inherit about $100 million when he turns 25. If they marry before then, Genma and Soun get to manage all that money.
Meanwhile Akane and Ranma are still having sex and Akane turns Ranma into Ranma-chan to see what having sex with another woman would be like.
Chapter Three
Soun and Tendo are busy getting drunk and being thrown out of bars since they can't pay their bill. Sasuku tells Kuno that Akane and Ranma are married which clears the way for him (in his mind, anyhow) to go after Ranko.
At the dojo Nodoka, Kasumi and Nabiki are talking with Ichiro and find out he was married once and Ryouga is supposed to be taking medication to help control his violent behavior.
Chapter 4
Nabiki tells Ranko that Nodoka and Ichiro want to talk to her. Ranko is still furious with Nodoka for the way she treated Ranma. The meeting does not go well at all when Nodoka touches Ranko and Ranko tears into her verbally.
"She knew everything Ranma remembered about Nodoka, and it was all fear, anger, and abandonment."
Kasumi comforts a crying Ranko.
It turns out that Ranko could be Nodoka's daughter after all since Nodoka had a stillborn daughter and it's soul could have gone to Jusenkyo and blended with the curse/Ranko form.
Nabiki finds P-chan in the yard and brings him inside.
Chapter 5
On the way to school Kuno bothers Ranko who proceeds to show just how powerful she really is, scaring Nabiki and everyone else in the process.
Shampoo shows up at Ryoga's just after his father gets him to start taking his medications. She tells his father that she wants Ryouga as her husband.
Pantyhose Taro shows up (he's also a son of Ichiro) and confronts Ryouga. It seems he and Shampoo had something going once, too. Moose attacks and in a few moments the house is in chaos. Then Akari shows up and wants to make off with P-chan to turn Ryouga into her own husband which doesn't sit well with Shampoo.
Chapter 6
Shampoo is at Tofu's clinic when Ranko arrives and explains to her that Cologne wants Ranko, Ranma and Akane to all join the Amazon tribe and she just wants Ryouga as her husband.
Kasumi visits Tofu's office and Ranko finds out that Tofu is not in love with Kasumi after all and he has no idea why he reacts as he does when she is around.
Chapter 7
Tofu has a short meeting with Akane and Ranma while Ichiro has a talk with Pantyhose Taro.
Ranma and Akane are getting along wonderfully, Kasumi is falling for Pantyhose Taro and Ranko and Tofu keep having sexy dreams about each other.
Chapter 8
Ranko and Nabiki have a late-night chat and Ranko reveals she's interested in Tofu. Nabiki reveals she has sexy dreams about Kuno and Ranko tells her Tofu is not really romantically interested in Kasumi.
Kuno sneaks into the Tendo home and steals a manuscript he found there on how to become a manly man.
When Ranko gets to school everyone runs away from her and some girls make fun of her behind her back.
Moose and Akari try to hatch a plan to break Shampoo and Ryouga apart.
Pantyhose visits Kasumi who explains to him that he can change his name himself. They end up kissing and dancing around a little.
Kuno has now become a panty-stealer just like Happosai was.
There's another confrontation between Ranko and Nodoka that doesn't go well.
Chapter 9
Ryouga and Shampoo have a nice talk with Akari and Moose's plans backfire on them.
Ranko has a talk with Tofu but panics when they kiss and runs out into the night rain.
Chapter 10
The mirror Ranko came out of falls onto Shampoo and Ryouga, releasing a black pig and a cat. At the same time something is coming from the mirror trying to haul Pantyhose into it. Akane and Shampoo are fighting (Akane wanted to bash Ryouga) while Ryouga and Ranma are having a calm talk.
The entire group ends up fighting the monster that comes out of the mirror.
Chapter 12
They all gain up on the creature and finally manage to defeat it.
More about who Ichiro fathered and who he didn't including Ranma's attack on Ichiro.
Chapter 13
Kasumi thinks about how she has fallen in love with Pantyhose (now Jiro) while Soun and Genma return.
Nabiki reveals that Ranma's inheritance is in the range of thirteen billion yen.
Ranko makes up with Nodoka after she hears Nodoka's side of the story of how she and Ryouga's father had an affair.
Ranko and Tofu also get things worked out.
Chapter 14
Ranko admits to Ranma that she is in love with Tofu. Meanwhile Shampoo stands up to Cologne and a Matriarch's Challenge is the result. If Shampoo wins she becomes a matriarch; if she loses, she becomes a slave and it would take seven years for her to win back her freedom.
Jiro (Pantyhose) meanwhile goes to attack Ichiro.
Chapter 15
Nodoka, Ranko, Ichiro and Akane are having a talk while a friendly succubus is explaining the origins of Ranko to Dr. Tofu.
Kuno glomps Nabiki and then heads off to find Ranko.
Chapter 16
Apparently Dr. Tofu has a fiancee. Which doesn't sit well with Ranko. Meanwhile, the Pantyhose monster-from-the-mirror escapes.
Chapter 17
The Matriarch's Challenge takes place. It's really a challenge of logical arguments and in itself is quite interesting.
Chapter 18
Cologne plans to return to the Amazon village. She and Shampoo are gettting along fine. Rose Petal plans to go back with them then return to Nerima and be part of the "Fourth Village" Shampoo is establishing.
Soun and Genma's financial plot is revealed and they are thrown out of the dojo for good.
