Archie The Shadow #5

Yet another Shiwan Khan-based story, this time involving someone who can shoot radiation from his hands.

Lamont now has dark hair instead of blond hair.

Shiwan Khan plans to kill Lamont, still not realizing that he and the Shadow are one and the same. He sends a missile with a nuclear warhead to blow up Cranston's house, but the missile fails. The scientist who worked on it was a Nazi and became exposed to radiation, so he's now Radiation Rogue, and will go to try to kill the Shadow under Khan's orders.

It's revealed that Cranston/The Shadow also works for some kind of international anti-crime group, giving this Shadow a massive difference from the original Shadow who worked on his own. This Shadow seems to be part secret agent.

A thug that looks just like Lamont knocks him out and plans to rob a bank he's involved with. Khan's men have taken the place of the bankers, though, and capture the guy they think is Lamont. The real Shadow shows up, though. Khan makes off with the fake Lamont.

Then there's another part of the text story The Adventures of the Shadow.

The second story is a continuation of the first rather than a separate story. The Shadow and Radiation Rogue meet and the Shadow is nearly beaten, but hypnotizes the thug and escapes, later hypnotizing him again to kill Khan.

The Shadow wants Khan as a prisoner, though, and grabs him and runs off, while the Radiation Rogue is buried in the rubble of a collapsing building. Khan escapes to live another day.
