The police commissioner and some police get to Shiwan Khan's and go into a room where they start to be hypnotized. The Shadow intervenes, and the guy who was fencing diamonds is killed but Shiwan Khan escapes.
Although it's still the same title, it seems to be a totally separate story using Shiwan Khan who hypnotizes Margo quickly. The Shadow rescues some guy from a weird machine but gets knocked out in the process.
Shiwan Khan again hypnotizes Margo Lane. Shiwan Khan ends up stealing a 12-wheel automobile and an aluminum bathysphere and escapes.
