Movie Adaptation

First, I don't like the cover. Some of the Chinese guys attacking the Shadow look more like trolls than Chinese.

>A minor point, but when Moe drops off the guy the Shadow saved from the gang, Moe says 'Be seeing you,' the phrase from The Prisoner.

The section with the coffin and Khan is a little different, but not terribly significantly different. Then it gets into the part with Margo's father, the mad scientist. These types of characters do not represent at all how science is supposed to work.

Lane works with only one person, barely. He doesn't seem to check with other scientists, and he's so obsessed with his work that he ignores the real world that is around him. His arrogance and obsession could have led to the death of everyone in the city.

The comic gets to the point where Khan is able to hypnotize Margo into killing Lamont Cranston.

Dark Horse Comics second part of their movie adaptation. Instead of Margo trying to kill Lamont in his room, she tries to kill him while he is outside. The trapping of the Shadow in the sphere of water is also different from the movie. Khan also plans to kill the President since he is in New York at the time.

The entire ending with the bomb is altered, along with the importance of Khan's sarcophagus, and how Khan lost his telepathy is also altered. It would be interesting to know if these differences were the result of the comic maybe being based on an earlier and different script, or if they just decided to change things.
