DC The Shadow #1

The cover artwork is good and the inside artwork also seems to be done in a quality manner.

The story starts with some crooks getting information from another crook, but the Shadow appears and gets the information himself. Later he, as Lamont, goes to the Cobalt Club with Margo where he contacts Burbank. Later some thugs attack a police van. They take Harry hostage, but the Shadow goes to his rescue.

The Shadow gets information out of one of the thugs. Lamont finds out that used money is being shipped to Washington for disposal. The crooks plan to blow up a bridge the convoy with the money is going to cross, then steal the money.

The crooks have a sub they stole the planes for, but the Shadow drops depth charges on them from his autogyro, then gets on the sub to subdue the crooks. The Shadow then gets the ringleader.
