DC The Shadow #10

The story opens with Moe and Harry in a town. They come across a bank robbery. Harry recognizes the gang (who make no attempt to use disguise but do take hostages) and he manages to shoot one of them. While chasing them a woman member of the gang drops dynamite in the road and their car is hit. Moe is in bad shape.

Harry, Margo and others are talking when the Shadow appears. He has not involved himself with the case and will visit the son of the father that leads the gang. The Shadow starts to talk to the son but the guy is killed by a bullet from outside. The Shadow chases down the killer, but the killer doesn't pay attention to where he's running and he gets hit by a truck and dies.

Margo tries to talk to a sheriff but he's ultra rude. He leaves to go after the gang and the Shadow appears and talks to Margo, then takes her up in his autogyro. The Shadow bombs a bridge the sheriff and the posse were going on, saying he has to take at least one of the mob alive.

The Shadow and Margo go to a scrapyard and the Shadow first encounters the leader of the family gang who he ends up killing after giving the guy a chance to surrender. Another guy dies from fright at the appearance of the Shadow.

A judge is behind all the crime as the last member of the gang, a woman who is dying after being shot by the judge, confesses all before she dies. The judge takes a car and tries to escape, but forgets the bridge was blown up and he and his car ended up at the bottom of the gorge in pieces and on fire.
