Ghost & The Shadow
In a Tibetan lamasery there's a massacre of the monks. There is something about a death figure or something possibly being sent loose, and word is sent to some old guy who has a cyrogenic chamber in his house that houses someone.
The old man is Harry Vincent, and the person in the stasis chamber is The Shadow. He says he had been kept there and was to be revived for one reason only. There's something about a city named Arcadia which has paranormals in it.
A group of thugs shoots down an autogyro near Arcadia. The Shadow confronts the thugs and kills two of them and hypnotizes the third. Some more of the thugs attack a woman in her apartment, but apparently the woman is a ghost who can transpose a guy through a wall and then let him fall to the pavement.
She can make parts of her body become solid, and can be hurt by jade. The remaining thugs take off with the body of the woman she had inhabited. There is something called a tulpa sealed in an idol.
Some thugs trap her in a net, but the Shadow shows up and shoots them. The Shadow explains to her about the creature of evil that can bring demons in to this world that is in the idol. The Shadow had played a part in getting the evil creature entombed in jade in the past.
The two of them find the thugs and the evil guys planning the whole evil creature thing and fight them. They are able to defeat the villains and destroy the creature.
