The Shadow: The Freak Show Killer

The story opens with a guy paying for a statue made of something special. A harlequin shows up to steal the statue and he shoots one of the guys at the meeting. The Shadow nails one of the crooks ,but the main one escapes. He has Margo to join a carnival.

The Shadow joins Margo at the carnival when they hear the sound of a gunshot. One of the performers is murdered by the Harlequin.

The Shadow figures out who the Harlequin really is, and the Harlequin pays the ultimate price since the crime of evil bears bitter fruit.

It's a well-done story.
