The Shadow and the Black Ray: Valda and Skeet are at the Uptown Club for Skeet's fraternity dance. Valda puts on a cat costume to pass undetected. Skeet is captured. Margo and Lamont arrive. Some crook has invented a way to stop the Shadow's guns from firing. Then Margo gets caught.

Then Valda activates a hidden door and it rips her costume off. Skeet and the Shadow take off after the crooks and trigger a bomb to activate when the crook's car is passing over a covered bridge.

The Shadow invades Tokyo to meet Devil Kyoti: Someone named Jerry and the Shadow fly a plane over Mt. Fuji. Their plane is shot down and catches fire, but there are lots of explosives on board which the Shadow planned for, blowing up lots of Japanese.

Kyoti tends to get out of control and cause a lot of damage to Tokyo. He gets into a bomb casing and the plane he's in takes off for some target. A typical anti-Japanese comic of the time.
