Monstrodamus Returns: A guy calls Lamont for help but is murdered before he and Margo can get there. Monstradamus fashions himself to be an alchemist, trying to make gold from base materials. Monstrodamus brings a mummy to life and it turns out to be a beautiful woman (of course.) The Shadow attacks the lair of the alchemist. The mummy Monstradamus brought to life teams with him.

The Shadow in Vampire Hall: Lamont and Margo are helping a friend to keep a house. Margo has to stay there overnight. Her bags are taken by a guy named Varney. The name Varney, of course, refers to a vampire of literature, Varney the Vampire. It turns out to be a scam to cheat someone, but the Shadow figures it out.

The Shadow and the Crime Wizard: A mad scientist has invented a machine to hypnotize people and he wants to use it on the Shadow. There's a blond girl that wants to help the Shadow and is immune to the machine for a certain reason. As usual, things don't go the way the crooks wanted, and they find out crime does not pay.
